  • 12 BACON SLICES

  • ½ RED BELL PEPPER, CUT INTO STRIPS
  • ½ MEDIUM ONION CUT INTO STRIPS, AND ½ DICED

PREPARATION

Cover the steaks with a plastic sheet and beat them with a meat tenderizer so they are thinner. Season with salt and black pepper. Upon each steak, arrange the bacon slices, carrot, bell pepper, and onion strips. Roll up and secure it with a toothpick. Heat up the oil and sear the meat on all sides; remove and set aside. In the same pot, braise the garlic and diced onion. Add the tomato paste, braise it for a bit and introduce the steaks. Cover with water and cook it until the meat is tender and the liquid has transformed into a sauce. Adjust seasoning and serve.
