Resteia Cheese

VENDA NOVA DO IMIGRANTE, in the mountain range of Espírito Santo, is a small town known for the investment it has been making on agritourism. On both sides of Pedro Cola Highway, several farms have opened stores and receive visitors to show them how cheese, jam and socol, among others delicacies of the region, are prepared. Of Italian origin, resteia cheese has soft texture, a slightly sweet flavor, and is also available in a smoked version.
