Vanilla edwalli
Large, thick vanilla pod with a very pleasant aroma, it is the bean of an orchid endemic to the Cerrado (the Brazilian savannah), still wild – that is, the plant is not cultivated commercially in Brazil yet. Similarly to regular vanilla, originated in Central America, it can be used to flavor sugar, several desserts and confections, ice creams and chocolate.
