INGREDIENTS

• 500 G HOMINY (DRIED WHITE CORN)

• 2 CUPS SUGAR

• 3 CINNAMON STICKS

• 5 CLOVES

• 3 CUPS COCONUT MILK

• GROUND CINNAMON, FOR DUSTING

PREPARATION

Cover hominy with water and let soak for at least 6 hours. Cook kernels in this same water until liquid is absorbed. Add 3 cups of water, sugar, cinnamon and cloves. Cook until al dente, add coconut milk and keep cooking for 15-20 minutes more, until hominy is done. Serve lukewarm or cold, sprinkled with ground cinnamon.
