YELLOWISH OIL obtained from the buriti fruit pulp, with pleasant flavor and scent, high in oleic acid and beta carotene. In the kitchen, it can be used for frying, sautéing and stewing. Due to the antioxidant properties, it is also highly valued in the cosmetic industry to manufacture skin and anti-aging products. In the Cerrado (Brazilian savannah) and the Amazon regions, native peoples use buriti oil to treat snake bites and sunburn.
